Bringing the West End to Our School Hall
The production captivated the children from start to finish. With impressive costumes, energetic acting, and engaging storytelling, pupils were drawn into the world of Oliver Twist, meeting iconic characters like Oliver, Fagin, and the Artful Dodger. Experiencing live theatre within the familiar surroundings of school made the performance even more magical and accessible for all.
Year 5 Step Into the Spotlight
After the show, our enthusiastic Year 5 pupils had the exciting opportunity to take part in a workshop led by members of the cast. The session offered a behind‑the‑scenes look at how performers bring characters to life through movement, expression, and voice.
The children dived into drama activities, exploring how actors step into roles like Oliver and Fagin with confidence and creativity. It was a wonderful chance for them to grow their drama skills, learn from professionals, and experience the joy of performance in a hands-on way.
