A Magical Week of Christmas Celebrations at St John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School
It has been a truly magical week at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School in Billingham, as our school community came together to celebrate the joy and meaning of Christmas. With festive activities, heartfelt performances, and moments of reflection, our children shone brightly throughout every event.
Choir at Christmas
Our choir have been busy performing around the local area during Advent.
Elf Run
The children took part in our annual Elf Run raising money for Teesside Mind.
Rock Steady Music Day
We had a wonderful day full of music when Rock Steady Music School came in to deliver workshops with all of our children from EYFS up to Year 6.
Chef Celebration Day
Today, we pushed the boat out for our Chef Celebration Day. Thank you to Keeley and Kylie for making every lunch time so special!
Ducklings (EYFS) Visit the Library
Last week, our Duckling Class visited Billingham Library for their first school trip of the year!
Year 5 Residential YMT
Our Year 5 pupils went to the Emmaus Youth Village in June to experience a 3-day retreat on our Jubilee Year theme: Pilgrims of Hope.
Year 6 Primary Festival
In June, our Year 6s headed up to the Emmaus Youth Village for a day of fun, friendships and music!
London 2025
In July, Mrs Nelson, Mrs Edwards and Mrs Frank took some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils to London for a residential stay. Whilst in the capital, they explored St. James' Park, completed a sightseeing trip on the coach, saw a West End show and ventured around the Natural History Museum.
