
A group of Mini Vinnies from St John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School in Billingham proudly represented their school at Mass at St John's Church, sharing the important work they carry out within the school community.
The pupils demonstrated confidence and commitment as they spoke to members of the congregation about the values and actions that guide their work throughout the year.
Sharing the Mini Vinnies Mission
During the Mass, the children explained the role of the Mini Vinnies and spoke about their vision of "Turning Concern into Action."
They shared how they look for opportunities to help others, support those in need and make a positive difference within their school, parish and wider community.
Stepping Outside Their Comfort Zone
Speaking in front of a congregation was a significant achievement for the pupils, who showed great courage and confidence as they addressed those gathered.
Staff were incredibly proud of the way the children stepped outside their comfort zones and embraced the opportunity to share their message with others.
Living Out Their Faith
The experience was a wonderful example of pupils putting their faith into action by promoting the values of service, compassion and social responsibility.
By sharing the work of the Mini Vinnies, the children helped raise awareness of the difference young people can make when they work together to support others.
