On the morning of Monday 15th April, the whole school joined together to share a very special Celebration of the Word to start our new term and to reflect on the events of Easter.
We listened to scripture from Luke’s gospel and read prayers of thanksgiving. During a lovely hymn, children placed their flowers into the cross, reminding us that Jesus loves us. This was a beautiful symbol of hope and new life.
Our decorated cross can be seen in the school entrance.
